Volcano Erupts in Bali,International Airport shutdown

Bali Indonesia Nov 27: A Natural disaster took place recently.The Volcano Mount Agung has started its eruption on Saturday night and the eruptions have not yet stopped. Currently, huge Ash from the eruption has covered roads, cars, and buildings near the volcano in the northeast of the island.

Indonesia's Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) Has said that "Since last night the eruption has been a magmatic type eruption, not phreatic, That's what has caused the eruption to continue to produce smoke and dark volcanic ash."

The country has alerted airlines and the International airport has been shut down an currently thousands of passengers have been stranded in the airport and officials are rescuing them and they have also ordered the people to shift to safe areas and no one should reside in surrounding 10 Km of the volacano eruption and they nearly rescued 40,000 members.

Currently, Bali is famous for its surf, beaches, and temples, attracts nearly 5 million visitors every year, however, the number of tourists has decreased from September as the volcanic tremors have increased.

Officials said that no casualties have been reported so far. The volcano last erupted in 1963 and it killed more than 1,000 people and razed several villages.
