China: Sand and Steel cargo ships collide with each other; 12 missing

China Nov 27: Two cargo ships of China collided with each other resulting in 12 crew members disappearance. The crew members are being searched after the collision.

A ship carrting 5,000 tonnes of sand collided with ship loaded with 5,038 tonnes of steal at Pearl River estuary on Monday.

The ship carrying sand sank in the sea after collision and two members from that ship have been rescued but the rest 12 remained missing.

Eleven sailors from steel ship have been rescued.

The search operation is being carried out by thirty rescue ships, one helicopter and other ships.
