Hyderabad gears up to host WTC, after GES

Hyderabad Nov 27: Currently Hyderabad has geared up for hosting Global Entrepreneurship Summit which would be inaugurated by PM Modi and US President Advisor Ivanka Trump. The summit would be concluded on Nov 30.

The Telangana Government has planned another international event in Hyderabad city in December 2017 and the state capital will Host World Telugu Conference from Dec 15 to Dec 19.

The preparations are in full swing as the chief Minister has already urged the officials to make sure that all arrangements are done ahead of time.

Under the WTC various programmes such as literary discussions, seminars, debates, folk arts along with theatre and cinema would be conducted and emphasis would be on upliftment of Telangana Literature and culture.Officials have identified four venues for the event.



LB Stadium -Main venue - The inaugural and the concluding ceremony will take place and special stalls will be set up on Telugu literature.

Ravindra Bharathi - programmes of music, dance, theatre, and cinema will be set up.

NTR Auditorium in Potti Sriramulu Telugu University - literary discussions, seminars will be held

Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium at Nampally - women-oriented activities and children’s festivals.

Lalitha Kala Thoranam - a hub for performing arts.
