AP CM Naidu to set up Gyms at all govt offices soon

Vijayawada, Nov 26: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister
N Chandrababu Naidu has launched another innovative and 'first in the country' scheme.

While taking serious note of the increasing lifestyle diseases among government employees due to ignorance or negligence of the importance of physical fitness, Chandrababu Naidu has announced setting up of gyms in all the government offices across the state.

He opines that the gyms will not only help the employees in reducing stress levels but also in improving their performance in the workplace.



The gyms, to be installed at office premises, will be opened daily during evening hours. Physical instructors will also be deployed in the gyms to provide fitness training to the govt. employees. The groundwork for this mission has already begun.

The chief minister said his government gives utmost priority to the well-being of the government employees.
