Woman killed, husband injured in road accident

West Godavari, Nov 26: Here is tragic incident has appeared while a woman was killed and her husband sustained injuries when the bike on which they were riding was hit by a speeding tractor on NH-16 at Khandavalli of Peravali Mandal in West Godavari on Saturday.

The information reported that The victims are identified as, L.Manga Tayaru(42), was riding pillion when her husband Srirama Krishna Surya Prabhakar Rao hailing from East-Vipparru of Iragavaram Mandal, was riding the bike.

They were proceeding from East Vipparru to Khandavalli. As they were crossing the NH-16 to enter the village road, a tractor coming from behind rammed their bike. Under the impact, she fell down on the road and was crushed to death under the wheels of the tractor. Her husband was shifted to a local government hospital for medical treatment.

Police have sent the body for Post mortem and booked a case and investigation is on.
