Marriage season to end on Nov30 & will start

Amaravati Nov 25: Currently its wedding season and many people are getting married. Many priests have said that the good dates/timings for getting married will end on Nov 30 and the later dates are after Feb 19.

Priests have added that the months of December and January are unfit for the marriages this year and the dates of Nov 23-25 are best for marriages and there are reports that nearly 1 lakh members are getting married in these 3 days.

@Huge demand:

Currently, there is a huge demand for wedding halls and these were booked almost 2 months ago and the demand for priests have also tripled and they have hiked the remuneration. The outdoor catering demand has also increased and the prices of food served has also increased.



@Impact of GST and Demonetization:

However, the impact of GST has been minimal and many people have started adopting digital transactions and online transfers this has led to decrease in overlash spending and big fat weddings have come down.
