Medchal DEO suspended on Corruption Charges

Hyderabad, Nov 23: The Commissionerate and Directorate of School Education on Wednesday suspended A Usha Rani, District Educational Officer, Medchal on charges of corruption.

The suspension comes in the wake of allegations of corruption and irregularities against her, with regard to processing bills to Urban Residential Schools.

The government which had taken a serious view of these allegations enquired into the same.



Commissioner and Director of School Education G Kishan said that report submitted by the Regional Joint Director Hyderabad had revealed certain serious irregularities.

Meanwhile, R Rohini, DEO, Yadadri was given full additional charge as DEO Medchal until further orders.
