TS Govt launches Anti-Mosquito Operation ahead of GES

Hyderabad, Nov 23: The Telangana government has taken up an anti-mosquito operation at Golconda Fort here on Wednesday ahead of GES arrangements and Ivanka's visit.

The Govt organizing dinner for 1,500 Indian and foreign delegates, including US President Donald Trump's daughter and advisor Ivanka Trump who are attending the Global Economic Summit, at Golconda Fort.

With the surroundings go the Golconda Fort being the hotbed for mosquitoes, the GHMC officials have decided to launch an anti-mosquito operation at the fort.

Entomologists have taken up the task of fogging in order to get rid of mosquitoes and clearing weed in water bodies.

Also, over 300 staff members supported by entomologists are supervising the drive on war foot basis.
