TDP MLA quits his party

Gannavaram, November 23: Telugu Desam Party MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi has offered to resign to his MLA seat over Delta Sugars issue here on Wednesday.

Vallabhaneni, who represents Gannavaram constituency in Krishna district, was upset when the CMO officials prevented him from meeting the Chief Minister on the issue of shifting of Delta Sugars factory from Hanuman Junction to Tanuku.



He was there to submit a memorandum to AP CM Chandrababu Naidu. However, the CMO officials behaved rudely with the TDP MLA. Upset with this, Vamsi has offered to resign to his MLA seat.

The issue has been going on for a while. However, Vamsi is of the opinion that he could not able to do justice to farmers even as he is serving as sitting MLA from the incumbent government.
