Polavaram Project is my dream: AP CM

Vijayawada, Nov 22: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has said that the Polavaram project is the lifeblood of Andhra Pradesh and that it is the only way to fulfill it. He made a statement on the Polavaram project at legislative assembly on Wednesday.

The Polavaram project is expected to be completed by the end of the project, making Somawaram a special focus. It has revealed that he has visited the project area 20 times so far.

"Polavaram project headworks, spillway works 72 percent, diafrom wall works 47.99 percent and soil works 72 percent completed. Radial gates are over 100 percent. So far Rs.12,567.22 crore has been completed and Rs 4,329 crore from the center. We have sent the revised estimates to Rs 58,391.06 crore, "Chandrababu said.
