Hyderabad Metro Rail issues Do's and Don'ts

Hyderabad Nov 22: The Hyderabad Metro Rail works are at a brisk pace as officials are working overtime to complete the pending works ahead on Nov 28 the date of Inauguration of the project.

However, for the safety/security of Passengers, the Metro Authorities have issued some Do's and Don'ts which are expected to be followed by the passengers so that travel would be smoother.

Do's

# Use bins to dispose items and help us keep premises clean.

# Listen to all announcements.

# Inform staff if you see any activity inside Metro Rail premises that can compromise safety or can damage life and property.

# Cooperate with staff during security checks.

# Be polite and courteous with staff and fellow passengers

# customers are responsible for their belongings

# Use rail handle while traveling in train

# Maintain queue at ticket vending machines and while boarding the train

# Don't cross yellow line on the platform

# Look in front while boarding escalators and climbing stairways.

# Vacate metro train premises after you have reached your destination and also during an emergency.

Don'ts

# Ticketless travel is a punishable offense.

# Don't attempt to use any emergency communication with the train driver without reasonable.

# Don't spit inside the station premises

# Smoking Tobacco / Consumption of alcohol is prohibted

# Don't carry explosives inside the train

# consumption of eatables is probhited

# Carry of pet dogs is also prohibited

# Don't block escalators by sitting on it

# Hackers are prohibited in metro rail

# Don't share your smart card or tokens with others

# Don't stand close to the doors.

# Don't click photos in the train

# dont touch overhead electric cables

# dont stick notices

# dont try to open the doors forcefully
