ACB Officials unearth Rs 200 crore black money of Ex-surveyor

Vishakapatnam Nov 20: Another Andhra Pradesh Public servant's corruption scandal has been exposed. Anti-Corruption Bureau Central Investigation Unit (CIU) have raided the houses of the Gedela Lakshmi Ganeswara Rao a top official in Andhra Pradesh Government.

Earlier he was suspended as a surveyor after the allegations of bribery.The ACB officials had tried to raid his premises but He has let loose his dogs on him and he was hiding.

Later with the help of police, the officials have raided in 18 locations in Andra Pradesh and Telangana Simultaneously.The officials have unearthed Rs 200 crore black money and assets of the surveyor.

ACB officials have recovered 30.36 acres of land in documents, 19 flats in North Andhra and Godavari districts, five house sites, 34,000 in cash, one kg gold and 3.26-kg silver ornaments, household articles worth 10 lakh, Volvo, Innova and Honda City cars and two motorbikes and 10 lakh bank balance and old currency worth of 25,000.

Officials have said that more wealth would be unearthed in coming days as the investigation progress.
