Lebanon PM Hariri visits France amid political crisis

The Lebanon Prime Minister Saad Al Hariri was welcomed by French President Emmanuel Macron, when he arrived from Saudi Arabia in the midst of a political crisis.

Hariri gave a shock to the nation with his announcement of resignation as Lebanon's Prime Minister, the Lebenese belived that Hariri is being forced by Saudi and is held in house arrest.

The Lebanese leader’s wife and elder son were to join them for the meal after the talks, but the couple’s two younger children remain in Riyadh “for their school exams”, a source close to Hariri said.

“Hariri does not want to mix his children up in this affair,” the source said.
