YSRCP leaders slam TDP for appointment of Government Whip

Vizag Nov 17: YSR Congress party has slammed the ruling party and termed the appointment of Araku MLA Kidari Sarveswara Rao as Government Whip as a violation of the anti-defection law.

YSRC Anakapalle rural Visakhapatnam president Gudivada Amarnath has said that "Kidari won on our party ticket and later crossed the floor to join the ruling Telugu Desam Party. Now he is made Government Whip which means handing over the implementation of the anti-defection law to him. This is a mockery of democracy. Already we complained to the Assembly Speaker and also the Governor on the YSRC legislators who defected to the TDP had violated the anti-defection law".

The leaders have said that we have also sought the President's intervention to disqualify its defected MLAs Along with Kidari Sarveswara Rao.

Currently, the party leader is busy in Jana Sankalpa Yatra and has once again raised farmer issue and said that people must not be fooled by false promises of AP CM Chandrababu.
