Woman laborer killed,30 injured, after tractor overturned

Kakinada, Nov 16: Here is ghastly incident has unveiled while A farm woman laborer was killed when a tractor loaded with laborers overturned at Ramachandrapuram Kothuru road here in the early hours of Wednesday.

The details reported that a tractor with migrant farm laborers on its trolley overturned in an irrigation canal when the tractor driver dozed off. Thirty laborers were on board when this incident took place.

The deceased laborer was identified as Rajababu of Jagannadhapuram village, Madugula Mandal of Visakhapatnam district.

Another 30 laborers were severely injured in this incident and were taken to Ramachandrapuram area hospital and the treatment is ongoing.

Ramachandrapuram RDO Rajasekhar visited the hospital and ordered the medical staff to render the necessary medical aid to the injured.

All the injured were from Anakapalli of Visakha district and were coming to East Godavari District for agriculture labor work.The Ramachandrapuram Police registered a case and took the tractor driver into custody.
