Pakistan shock to China

Islamabad Nov 16: In a major shock to the dragon country, Pakistan has rejected the China's financial assistance to build Diamer-Bhasha Dam and ordered the china to exit the country.

The move by Pakistan has huge significance because the Project is a part of $60 billion China -Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).Pakistan has also said that it would build the project on its own by acquiring funds.

Earlier India has objected the project because the project passes through the territory of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) which is claimed by India. The project was supposed to be financed by Asian Development bank but ADB has rejected to finance and Pakistan has decided to build the project on its own.

Sources said that the country has rejected China because of the conditions put forth by them and the project cost has been escalated to $ 14 billion from the original proposal of $ 5 billion.

Political experts say that the move would have a significant impact on the OBOR and CPEC projects and the total projects may be halted which would be a big diplomatic win for India.
