Andhra CM Naidu condoled victim families of Krishna boat incident

Vijayawada, Nov 13: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday visited the Pavitrasangamam, the confluence of the river Krishna and Godavari where a boat capsized and 18 people met the watery grave near here last evening.

The Chief Minister, accompanied by Ministers D Umamaheshwara Rao, K Ravindra and B Akhila Priya, visited the Pavitrasangamam.

The officials explained to Mr. Naidu the manner in which the boat capsized and the details of the deceased and missing persons.



The Chief Minister interacted with a fisherman N Picchiah, who had rescued five persons.

Later, the Chief Minister visited Andhra Hospital in Gollapudi and enquired with the doctors on the condition of some of the boat accident victims, who are undergoing treatment and also instructed to give the better treatment for them.He condoled the victim families of the tragic incident.
