Woman killed, 10 injured after auto jumps into canal

Kakinada, Nov 12, Here is tragic incident has appeared while a woman was killed and 10 others sustained injuries when the autorickshaw in which they were traveling went out of control and jumped into a roadside canal near Bellampudi village of P P Gannavaram Mandal in Konaseema region, 65 kms from here on Sunday.

The police who registered a case identified the deceased as Rapaka Adilakshmi (50).

The injured were rushed to a private hospital where they were given first aid and discharged.

The body was sent to an Area hospital at Amalapuram for post-mortem pending further investigation, police said.
