Gauri Lankesh Case: killers identity will be revealed soon

New Delhi, November 12: The killers of senior journalist Gauri Lankesh, who was shot dead in an audacious attack in Bengaluru on outside her home on September 5., would "100 percent" be nabbed in a few weeks, Karnataka Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy said here on Saturday.

Unlike in the murder cases of (Narendra) Dabholkar and (Govind) Pansare (in Maharashtra), the SIT has definite clues and knows the identities of the people behind the murder of Gauri Lankesh. Their identities will be revealed this month," said Reddy.

"Who has done it...I am aware of it thanks to an update provided by the SIT. But I cannot disclose it now," Reddy said

The minister, however, clarified, "Weeks do not mean one or two weeks. It (the arrest of the killers) will happen in a matter of a few weeks. This will happen 100 percent."
