List of 0,5,12 % tax reduced items

Guwahati Nov 11: The GST council in a move to give relief to common man has taken some crucial rates.The council has decided to cut tax rates items which are in lower tax slabs have also been reduced.

The tax rates are as follows

NIl - 0 % : (6 items tax rates have reduced )

Guar meal, hop cone, certain dried vegetables, unworked coconut shellfish, Khandsari sugar (earlier 5 %)

bangles of lac/shellac (earlier 3 %)

5 % GST ( 6 items from 18 %, 8 items from 12 %, 3 items from 28 % reduced)

From 18 % to 5 %

# Puffed rice chikki, peanut chikki, sesame chikki, revdi, tilrevdi, khaza, kazuali, groundnut , sweets gatta, kuliya .

# Flour of potatoes .

# Chutney powder .

# Fly ash .

# Sulphur recovered in refining of crude .

From 12 % to 5 %

# Desiccated coconut

# Narrow woven fabric including cotton newar

# Idli, dosa batter

# Finished leather, chamois and composition leather

# Coir cordage and ropes, jute twine, coir products
