Odd-even rule back in Delhi

New Delhi, November 09: The Delhi govt has said it will impose the odd-even car rationing scheme from November 13-17 here on Thursday.

The odd-even car rationing scheme will be rolled out in Delhi for five days from 13 November as part of a graded response plan to tackle the alarming pollution situation in the city, the state government announced on Thursday.

The scheme will be in place from 8 am to 8 pm and there will exemptions for women drivers and two-wheelers.

Earlier today, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) issued a slew of directions to deal with the pollution crisis in Delhi-NCR. The directions include banning construction and industrial activities and the entry of trucks.
