Hyderabad Metro-Electrification of 30 KM track completed

Hyderabad Nov 7: The Hyderabad Metro Rail project countdown has begun.Telangana IT Minister KTR has said that PM Modi would inaugurate the 30 KM Project on Nov 28.

The Authorities have crossed another hurdle and obtained a clearance certificate for conducting trial runs for the segments of Begumpet-Sr Nagar Via Ammerpet Interchange station.

Recently the Officials have completed the electrification works in the above stretches and the Government of India’s Chief Electrical Inspector D.V.S. Raju has approved the energization of Overhead Electric Traction System (OETS).

Currently, trail Runs are being carried out between Nagole-Begumpet and Miyapur-SR Nagar and the officials said that trails run in the two corridors would be conducted soon and all the required safety certification would be acquired before Nov 20.

The Officials have completed power works at Ameerpet station and this has led to the illumination and functioning of lifts and escalators at the interchange station.
