Formar MP BN Reddy passed away

Nalgonda, Nov 7: In a sad incident, The Former Miryalaguda MP Baddam Narasimha Reddy alias BN Reddy(82)was passed away at 4:30 am on Monday in Apollo Hospital, Banjara Hills in Hyderabad. He was suffering from cancer for some time.

BN Reddy had served as Member of Parliament from Miryalaguda Constituency for three terms during 1989-91,1996-98 and 1998-99. He contested in the elections as a candidate of Congress party. Miryalaguda Lok Sabha Constituency was changed as Bhongir Lok Sabha Constituency in the delimitation of Constituencies.

He was an architect and also a poet. He also served as a Member of Consultative Committee, Union Ministry of Urban Development in the year 1990-91.



He penned books such as 'Samanyuni Sandesham', 'BN Bhastitalu', BN Bhava Taranagini','Dews of the Dawn', 'A Glimpse of Practical Vastu'. In 1976, Dr. BN Reddy received Best Story Award.

He also served as Academic Senate of Osmania University, Hyderabad; Senate of Dr. MGR Medical University, Madras and Vice-Chairman of Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad.

Congress Legislature Party (CLP) deputy leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, MLC Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, former MLA from Nakrekal Chirumarthi Lingaiah condoled Reddy's death.

They recollected the services rendered by Dr. BN Reddy to people as well as to the Congress party.
