HC dismissed the Writ Petition against TRT notification

Hyderabad Nov 3: The common Division High Court at Hyderabad has dismissed the writ petition filed, challenging the Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) notification issued by Telangana State government to fill 8,792 teacher posts.

The court made it clear that it cannot agree with the contention of the petitioner that the 10 previous districts recognised by Presidential Order must alone be taken as a unit for allocation of the posts rather than the present 31 districts as was mentioned in the notification.

It asked the petitioner to show which provision would bar taking new districts as a unit for this recruitment. Justice A Ramalingeshwar Rao on Thursday dismissed the petition filed by K Balakrishna, K Bhanu and Ram Mohan Reddy challenging the Notification issued by TSPSC this October 10th.

Taking into consideration this submission of the AG and given the fact that there is no bar for aspirants of any district to apply for these posts, the judge passed orders dismissing the writ petition.
