Group I selection list withdrawn BY TSPSC

Hyderabad, October 31: The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has decided to withdraw the allotment of posts to Group I list, released on October 28, until the Centre for Good Governance (CGG) clears the job preference exercised by the candidates.

Two candidates had approached the commission stating that their order of preference of posts was not considered. The commission said it made selections based on the online web options exercised by the candidates and data furnished by the CGG.

Responding to the candidates' representations, the TSPSC has called an emergency meeting to seek a clarification on the matter. The CGG has stated that it found the data communicated was not in the correct sequence of preference and was verifying the complete data.

CGG has informed the TSPSC that on a random check, it was found that the data communicated was not in correct sequence of preferences and a verification of the complete data was now initiated. The TSPSC, therefore, has decided to withdraw the selection list until the report is received from the CGG on the actual job preferences exercised by the candidates.
