After FIFA U-17 India had bid for hosting FIFA U-20

After hosting FIFA U-17 India is trying to build legacy with showing interest in hosting FIFA U-20 world cup. India has been praised by Infantino for hosting FIFA U-17 but now India has bid for FIFA U-20 and is hoping for the best.

India made a formal bid to host the 2019 U-20 World Cup last month by submitting an expression of interest to host the tournament.

The Fifa Council is expected to announce the winning bid by next March. No country has ever hosted two World Cups in different categories in a span of two years. Moreover, the 2017 edition of the under-20 World Cup was held in South Korea in May-June and Fifa usually takes the next tournament to a different continent, but Infantino did not make any such comment here. In fact, he remarked that it won't be a hindrance in awarding another World Cup to India. Both the under-17 and under-20 World Cup tournaments are held every two years.

"Two World Cups were held in Asia. We had a very successful U-20 World Cup (in South Korea) and a successful U-17 tournament here. We have received several requests from different countries to host the competition in 2019. This will now be analysed by the Fifa administration and presented to the council. Hopefully we'll arrive at a decision early next year," the Fifa chief maintained.
