Mersal-GST row: Raveena Tandon supports movie; freedom of speech

Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon who was at the launch of 'Thai Villa Spa' in Mumbai spoke to press and when asked about the Mersal GST row the Actress said that everybody has right to speech and freedom and politics should not interfere in the work of movies. She supported the movie and even said every artist have right of speech with right of criticism.

She said "I feel ever film, every artist, everybody has a right to freedom of speech and criticism. I don't think politics should interfere in creativity at all".



Vijay-starrer Diwali release 'Mersal' kicked up a row with the BJP taking exception to references on GST in the movie. The movie has earned more than Rs 150 crore at the box office.

Even though all artist are supporting the movie the production house of movie has accepted to cut scenes as they do not want any problem.
