Be Alert: More Earthquakes likely to hit Hyderabad

Hyderabad, October 23: Hyderabad has witnessed a mild Earthquake on Friday at Borabanda Area.

The National Geophysical Research Institue (NGRI) which installed two stations on Saturday night to track the tremors recorded four minor tremors soon after the installation.

The official has arranged the Seismic survey centers in four areas, including Borabanda, Rahmat Nagar,



Senior NRI scientist Srinagesh said, "We have identified over 20 earthquakes since Friday night. More earthquakes are likely to come ... people should alert at any time.

Hyderabad in the Zone-2 range, which is less seismic zone.However officials said that people need not panick
because of mild vibrations in the earth.
