Pranab Mukherjee: "KCR rejected Minister berth for Telangana"

New Delhi Oct 23: The Telangana CM KCR efforts to fight for a separate Telangana state was enormous and was recognized by the whole world.Recently Former President in his book has recognized the efforts made by the TRS party chief.

Pranab Mukherjee in his latest release has written that "In the context of TRS's participation, KCR told me 'Pranabji', you know my ambition. I want a separate Telangana. Which portfolio you give to me is not important. Whatever you give, I will gladly accept. But for God's sake, please consider a separate Telangana".



He has also recalled that KCR was inducted into the cabinet in 2004 and was persuaded to take the labour minister after key portfolios were allotted to other ministers in UPA government.

Many TRS leaders have hailed the recognition made by former President to reiterate that their leader was selfless and fought for the people of Telangana and didn't kill his ambition for any ministerial berth.
