Grading of Hospitals-a new plan by CM KCR

Irrespective of financial status, health conditions taunt young and old, children educated or uneducated, male or female.Nowadays due to change of food habits, environmental effects hitherto unheard of diseases, ailments are troubling many.Though govern hospitals are serving in this sector, much is wanted.

Now and then we come across news of some renowened hospitals, are squeezing patients of their money in the name of treatment and sometimes fictitious treatment. we came across instances of treatment to dead people with an eye on medical bill.Huge Investments on Infrastructure, some big hospitals resort to bogus tactics.Once a patient enters specialized hospitals bills worth of lakhs await him soon.High remuneration for specialists, salaries, rent,equipment etc make them seek high bill payments.

Some government hospital doctors are gheraoed for tardy treatment and even they were manhandled at times.This poses risk to the peaceful environment.KCR the CM of Telangana as a special mark of his administrative acumen may approve a new plan.Authorities are contemplating on grading hospitals as per the facilities available, the manner of treatment, apparatus within the reach, specialization offered etc.

If at all such a plan is implemented this could become an example for other states in our country.Then patients can have a near estimation of expenses they will have to incur and so will be rid of worry later.Certain grade hospitals will have a similar fee structure.Also, a healthy and transparent competition will offer better services for patients.

As everything is kept in a tablewise manner in writing, friction between medical fraternity,general public will be minimum.This requires a high level of interaction, discussion, taking all parameters into consideration.
