Congress readies its strategy to fight Gujarat Elections

Approaching Gujarat assembly elections are paving for new political equations. Prime Minister Modi's home state has the taste of rebellion from Patel community leader Hardik Patel recently. As if that is not enough now OBC leader Alpesh Thakor is readying to Join Congress party soon.It seems Alpesh is particular about the welfare of farmers and OBCs, he got assurances in this regard from Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi. As it was the aim and ideology of Congress party, Rahul's response was positive and Thakor showed his willingness to join it.

The "OBC Unity front" which is headed by Thakor will hold a meeting in Gandhinagar on Monday. This ocassion may witness the merger of the front in Congress party.AICC General secretary Ashok Gehlot is making preparations for it.This development is due to hard work done by Congress leader Bharatsinh Solanki. He could somehow bring young BJP opponent caste leaders into its fold. Dalit leader Jignesh Mevani and Hardik Patel were against BJP but are not completly yes for joining the party.

Mevani has no such reservation in mind and being, congress the big opponent, he wants to join that and fight BJP.patel felt congress invitation as a political gimmick. At the same time, he wants to avenge arrogant BJP too. There is a strong opinion that a three way voting will increase BJP chances. So limiting competition upto two parties Congress and BJP is their motto now.The younger people feel BJP as anti-constitutional,anti-Dalit, anti-farmer,anti-worker and anti-poor.

They want to see ordinary voter gets the idea to vote for congress for betterment. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is also ready to contest in few strong constituencies where it has a hope of victory. AAP wants to field its candidate from Rajkot.Full picture of Gujarat Politics will come after election declaration.
