Sweets business for Diwali was far better than crackers this time. Happy Diwali without Pollution Slogan from prominent people had its effect on So many people. The rains also dampened the cracker spirit among so many. The recent GST application for various items also
showed mixed trends.The tax on Sweets came down from 14.5 % to 5 % under GST and the tax on ghee went up to 12 % from 5 %.

Actually, the sweets rates must come down with GST coming down.When the raw ingredients like ghee increase with GST increase, the sweet merchants will be in a dilemma.The GST on biscuits also increased from 12 % to 18 %. Cashewnuts, almonds, chocolates and such items are supplied by orders from customers. Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm type of
E-commerce portals are trying to see the orders are supplied in time .Many people from America have ordered sweets online for their
local relatives present in India.

In Andhra pradesh there is a gift portal from Guntur which cater to these orders.Towns, cities as well some villages are also served by these portals.There are other types of gifts like coins of deities, silver dollars, lighting decorations which are supplied by these portals.

People from Canada, Australia, United Kingdom are also in a considerable way giving these orders.Nowadays people are ordering sweets online to show their affection towards their relations.This time fewer crackers and more sweets Diwali made rounds at many places.
