KTR inaugurates series of Civil works worth Rs 73.66 crores

Hyderabad, Oct 20: The Telangana Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development KT Rama Rao has inaugurated and laid foundation stones to a series of civil works worth Rs 73.66 crores in Sanathnagar and Secunderabad Constituencies here on Thursday.

* The works include foundation stone for laying of road from Kanakadurgamma Temple, Ameerpet to Fatehnagar Flyover at a cost of Rs 25 Crores,

*Expansion of 25 to 50 bedded hospital at Ameerpet at a cost of Rs 3.28 Crores.
* Laying the foundation stone for BT road at Minister's Road near KIMS hospital at cost of Rs 9.20 Crores.
* Laying of Foundation stone for Secunderabad Library at Monda Market at a cost of Rs.3 Crores.
* Inauguration of HMWSSSB, Boats Club Reservoir at Ramgopalpet at a cost of Rs 4.20 Crores.
* Inauguration of Marredpally Reservoir at a cost of Rs 11 Crores.

The Minister also laid the foundation stone for a Multi-level Parking in about 600 sq.yards at a cost of Rs 3 Crores so as to create parking space for the devotees visiting Balkampet Yellamma Temple.



A Model Market at Pattigadda was also inaugurated by the Minister.Later, the Minister also inaugurated Multi-purpose Function Hall at a cost of Rs 2.5 Crores, which includes cutlery and cooking utensils.

Two Bedroom houses will be allocated to all the eligible poor in urban areas, he said.

The Minister also laid the foundation for the construction of sports complex at Ghansmandi, Monda Market at a cost of Rs 2.40 Crores.

State Ministers Talasani Srinivas Yadav, T Padma Rao Goud, Dr. C.Laxma Reddy, Indrakaran Reddy, GHMC Mayor B Ram Mohan, Former Union Minister, Bandaru Dattatreya and others were also present.
