CM KCR to lay foundation stone for a Mega Textile Park in Warangal

Hyderabad, Oct 18: The Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will be laying the foundation stone for a mega textile park in Warangal on October 22. Around 1,200 acres of land has been acquired from the farmers for setting up the textile park.

Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari informed that the Chief Minister would lay the foundation stone for the textile park at Shayampet in Geesugonda Mandal and Chintalapalli in Sangem Manual along with three other major projects.



He also stated that KCR will address a public meeting. the textile park was expected to change the face of the district as it would trigger development and providing over one lakh jobs to people. The only textile mill, Azam Jahi Mill, that was providing employment to a large number of people, was closed down two decades ago.

Kadiyam Srihari added that the TRS intends to mobilize two lakh people for the meeting.
