President Trump Celebrates Diwali in White House

Washington USA OCT 18: United States of America president Donald Trump has celebrated his first Diwali at the White House.He was joined by Nikki Haley, USA Ambassador to the United Nations and Seema Verma Administrator, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

President has posted a video of his Diwali celebrations on Social Media Platform and has said that "As we do celebrate Diwali so, we especially remember the People of India, the home of the Hindu faith, who have built the world's largest democracy".



Trump has lighted the lamp and has also interacted with senior officials.Later he said that "he greatly valued his very strong relationship with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and he was deeply honored to be joined by so many administration officials and leaders of the Indian-American community in celebrating Diwali the festival of lights."
