Samajawadi Party expelled Mulayam and Shivpal from national executive council

Samajawadi Party which was formed by Mulayam Singh Yadav around 25 years ago, expelled its founder from party's national executive council.

Both Mulayam Singh Yadav and his brother Shivpal are expelled from party's national executive council which is headed by party chief Akhilesh Yadav.

The party released a list of a 55-member national executive but the names of Mulayam and Shivpal were missing. Both of them recently were reported of having plans of making a new party but Mulayam recently said that he is not forming a new party as of now.
