TTD plans to increase 'Laddu' production

Tirupati, Oct 15: As we know that, Andhra Pradesh's Tirupati -Lord Venkateshwara temple is very famous, Currently many pilgrims across the world visit the temple.As well as Tirupati 'Laddu' is very famous and there is a huge demand for it.

So, in order to cater the demand, TTD has decided to increase the production of 'laddus' and it is planning to modernize its 'potu' (kitchen) at Tirumala. The officials instructed to come with proposals for the modernization of the kitchen so as to boost the production to at least five lakh a day.

Speaking to the media, TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal said the need for purchase of additional 'boondi' frying machines as well as the construction of platforms for the preparation of saccharine balls was felt and that would be addressed soon.
