PM Modi visits newly opened Bihar Museum

Patna, Oct 15: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited new Bihar Museum in Patna along with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy CM Sushil Modi and Ram Vilas Paswan here on Saturday.

The Chief Minister was seen guiding PM Modi through various halls in the museum that display antiques from history.



The newly opened Bihar Museum has different galleries that showcase state's heritage and its contribution to world civilization. From the figures of Buddha and Mahavir, to the Nalanda University and Mahatma Gandhi's first Satyagraha from Champaran, the museum has it all.

The philosophy of Chanakya and the reign of Emperor Ashoka are also highlighted in the museum.
