Heavy rains in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, October 14: The Telangana Capital City Hyderabad once again witnessed hey rains here on today evening, sever traffic jam erupted in some places.

A heavy spell of rain, triggered by a depression in the Bay of Bengal, lashed the city on Saturday evening.

Begampet, Tarnaka have witnessed huge rains while, Ameerpet, SR Nagar, Kukatpally, Erragadda, Yousuf Guda, Gachibowli, Mehdipatnam, Banjarahills, Nampalli have moderately rained.

Weather officials said that heavy rains in Telangana could be caused due to surface recurrence in the south-west Bay of Bengal.

For the next 24 hours, scattered light to moderate rains is likely to continue over North Telangana. On the other hand, South Telangana may expect to see good rains.
