SIT police reveal the faces of Gauri Lankesh Murder suspects

Bengaluru OCT 14: The Special Investigation Team today has identified two main suspects who have killed Senior Journalist Gauri Lankesh and their sketches have been released.

BK Singh, who is heading the SIT said that "We got some leads from the CCTVs outside Gauri Lankesh's home. We are investigating all angles. We have so far found no link to the Dabholkar murder. There is also no confirmation on whether weapons used were the same as that in Kalburgi murder".

He has also said that "We investigated 200-250 people in connection with the case. The suspects we zeroed in on are between 25 and 30 years old".

SIT has also released the CCTV footage recorded outside the house.

Earlier the state government had announced Rs 10 lakh reward to anyone giving information leading to the killers. The senior Journalist was shot dead on September 5 at her residence at night after she was returning from the office .
