Is US preparing for North korea; two bomber planes flew over Korean peninsula

Two B-1B Lancer bombers flew from US over Korean peninsula, these were joined by two F-15K fighters from the South Korean Air Force. Two jets from Japan also joined in later. This was to weigh options on North Korea, presented to Donald Trump by his top military leaders.

After entering South Korean airspace, the bombers carried out air-to-ground missile drills in waters off the east coast of South Korea, then flew over the South to waters between it and China to repeat the drill.

“The briefing and discussion focused on a range of options to respond to any form of North Korean aggression or, if necessary, to prevent North Korea from threatening the United States and its allies with nuclear weapons,” The White House said.
