Nigerian student assaulted in Delhi for allegedly committing theft

One person has been arressted and four others have been identified by Delhi Police in Nigerain Student attack case, when a video of Nigerian student being assulted for allegedly committing theft found its way online.

This incident took place in Malviya Nagar, on September 24 the Nigerian student Ahmed was beaten brutally as locals alleged that he was trying to steal and got caught. He was tied to a pole and was beaten with sticks.

Delhi police arrested the Nigerain student and sent him to judicial custody, but after the video went viral they had to arrest the goon who attacked Ahmed.

DCP south, Ishwar Singh said, "He didn't say in the medical examination that public thrashed him, didn't tell anyone about how he got injured".
