Abducted Infant rescued in 15 hours by Police, trending in twitter

Indian Police Service officer Swati Lakra posted a photo of Policeman with a infant. The photo is of Sanjay Kumar, officer in Hyderabad’s Nampally police station and the infant is the one who was abducted from his mother’s side as both slept on a footpath in front of Himmathram Jewellers near Dargah Yousafain.

The mother of infant, Humera Begum lodged a complaint of her missing infant, four month old Faizan Khan. After tracking the CCTV footage near the location, Nampally police managed to rescue Faizan in less than 15 hours and also nab the offenders - Md Mustaq, 42, and his friend, Md Yousuf, 25.


Mustaq and Yousuf abducted the kid to sell to Md Ghouse who wanted to adopt a child. However Ghouse refused to accept the child as he was not accompanied by his parents. Then the infant was taken to Mustaq's house but police tracked him down and nabbed him and rescued the boy.
