Veterinary Student committs Suicide at Hostel

Hyderabad, Oct 09: Here is a dreadful incident has erupted while a 21 yrs old student attempted suicide by cutting his ankle with a blade at P V Narasimha Rao Veterinary University in Rajenderanagar near here.

The information reported that, The deceased student identified as Tharun, hailing from Warangal and pursuing a final year of veterinary course was in a depressed state and took the extreme step at 09:30 hrs on Saturday in the empty room of his hostel Ananda Nilayam.

His fellow students, who noticed Tharun lying unconscious, rushed him to the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), where he was recovering, police said.

Police suspect that he may by a drug addict.

The Body was sent for the Post mortem and a case has been registered and investigation is on.
