TATA Group to rationalize its Companies :N.Chandrasekaran

New Delhi OCT 9: Tata Sons Ltd executive chairman N. Chandrasekaran in an interview recently has spoken about a wide range of issues.He has opened up his plans about the future road of the Tata group.

He has added that "the group will look at Air India Ltd disinvestment being executed by the government currently." He has also said that more details are awaited from the central government.

Executive Chairman has also said that his emphasis would be on restructuring the group and told that "We would like to see ourselves as 5, 6, 7 groups as opposed to 110 companies".

Currently, the group owns has expansive presence in fields such as steel and automobiles, technology, infrastructure, power, food business and many other fields.

Finally, he ended his interview by giving a glimpse of his future vision and said that "Ideally, our interest will be to get out of the wireless business. We have to see if we can bring these enterprises businesses together".
