Hyderabad Metro Trail Run Delayed

Hyderabad Oct 6: Hyderabad Metro Rail Authorities are working at brisk pace to ensure that that the 30 km of the project is inaugurated by November end. earlier the CM KCR has invited PM Modi to inaugurate the project on Nov 28 During the GES meeting.

HMRL Officials have already completed major works of 30 Km between Nagole- Ameerpet and Miyapur-Ameerpet and currently works are being carried out at Ammerpet Exchange station.

Sources have said that the Trial run of Metro from Nagole to Ameerpet which was supposed to be held today has been postponed.The officials have cited some technical problems at the junctures such as Oliphanta Steel bridge (Secunderabad), Paradise and Begumpet.



Earlier HMR MD has said that "Trial runs would start from Oct 15 in 30 Km".and metro authorities have already got conducted trial runs for Nagole -Mettuguda stretch and Miyapur to SR Nagar stretch .

Touted to be Indias first largest Metro project with the majority of Private investment would cater the needs of lakhs of traffic commuters in Hyderabad has been delayed for a year and it is expected that 66 km of the project would be opened by Dec 2018.
