RTC bus rammed lorry, 2 killed,19 injured

Warangal, Oct 5: Here is a ghastly incident has occurred while two people were killed and 19 others sustained injuries after an RTC bus collided with a lorry head on Thursday morning at Station Ghanpur.

The information reported that the accident took place at Chagallu village of Station Ghanpur Mandal when an RTC bus of Vanaparthi depot rammed into a lorry. The bus was headed to Hyderabad from Hanmakonda while the lorry was moving to Warangal from Hyderabad.

A passenger along with the bus driver died on the spot. Others passengers who sustained injuries in the bus were shifted to a hospital for treatment.

The police have registered a case and sent the bodies for post-mortem. Further probe is underway.
