KCR: Expansion of Hyderabad Airport with international standards

KCR held a review meeting on Hyderabad International Airport extension and construction of Airport city on Tuesday. KCR said that the city should have a wonderful Airport city with all facilities and Airport should be developed according to International Standards.

He said that since Hyderabad has become a venue for many international events and meetings, a convention centre to accommodate 12,000 people and exhibition centre should be constructed. He even said that the terminals will be extended and second runway will be constructed. KCR suggested that Hyderabad metro rail to be extended till the Airport to provide transport facility for the travelers.

He assured that the state government will extend all needed support for this and he himself will be present at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Airport City.
