Demonetisation: Bank employees overtime not paid till now

Demonitisation shook the country and increased the work load of every bank employee, ATM workers and RBI. Bank employees did their best to serve the customers and even few them got thrashed up by angry mob due to no cash in banks.

Staffers worked 14 hours and their leaves were cancelled. Even after doing their best the bank employees are yet to be paid.

Employees Unions of government-run banks have threatened to launch a strike and head to courts if their employers don’t clear overtime dues from the time they worked long hours to handle the demonetisation rush.

It has been 11 months but the government didn't care about paying their hardwork. About 8 lakh employees are yet to be paid.
