KCR pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Bapu Ghat

Hyderabad, October 02: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Bapu Ghat in Hyderabad on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi here on Monday.

In the event, KCR was accompanied by Governor ESL Narasimhan, Home Minister Nayini Narasimha Reddy, Cabinet ministers along with other TRS leaders.

School children from several schools in Hyderabad also turned up to pay floral tributes to the Mahatma.

Other political parties offered floral tributes to the Mahatma.

The nation is celebrating Gandhi Jayanti today to mark the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, who is unofficially called the 'Father of the Nation'.
